Abstract
Experiences with left heart catheterization by the transseptal route in 130 patients are presented. The instruments and technics employed are described in detail and some of the applications in diagnosis and clinical investigation of the method are illustrated. The advantages of transseptal left heart catheterization, which indicate its superiority over other technics, are discussed.Keywords
