Abstract
The essential oils obtained by steam distillation of the fruit peek of two different chemotypes of Citrus medica, L. var. sarcodactylis, (Noot.) Swingle from Vietnamese origin were subjected to GC and GC/MS analyses. More than 40 compounds were identified, accounting for almost 99% of the oils. The major oil constituents of one chemotype were found to be limonene (48.4%) and p-cymene (33.7%), while the oil of the other chemotype contained predominantly limonene (55.5%) and γ-terpinene (22.5%).Keywords
