Abstract
The paper presents the dossier on Sociology of Youth and, in addition, provides a brief review of the studies that articulate youth and religion in the country. The proposal is to present the relevance of sociological approach in the theme that, far from considering youth as a category that exhausts itself, seeks to delineate analytically useful interfaces. The effort of the authors whose papers are part of the dossier was to bring to the public debate outcomes of their researches. Those papers take on youth as an issue of fertile analysis in the processes of social change in different national and transnational contexts.
