Abstract
In this letter, an interactive fiber laser is analyzed and experimentally demonstrated with results showing good performance in high-output power, accurate wavelength control and low relative intensity noise of less than -160 dB/Hz. It has a high-wavelength stability better than /spl plusmn/0.0006 nm measured for 24 h of operation, a high output power of over 166 mW and a laser sidemode suppression of over 52 dB with dual LD pump at 980 and 1480 nm in an MOPA structure. The fiber laser has a temperature-stabilized package with a wavelength temperature coefficient of -0.00028 nm//spl deg/C.Keywords
