Abstract

Rapid Decay of Anti–SARS-CoV-2 Antibodies in Persons with Mild Covid-19 (Correspondence, N Engl J Med 2020. DOI: 10.1056/NEJMc2025179). An error was made in the calculation of the half-life of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2. The estimated slope (−0.0083 log₁₀ ng per milliliter per day) and the associated 95% confidence interval (CI) (−0.0115 to −0.0050) are correct. However, the calculated half-life based on that slope is approximately 36 days (95% CI, 26 to 60), not 73 days (95% CI, 52 to 120). The letter is correct at NEJM.org.
