Abstract
A rare case of orbital manifestation of a lymphoblastic lymphoma of the Burkitt type, in a 76-year old female, is described. After extirpation of the tumor the tumor tissue was examined histologically and the results demonstrated. Some days postoperatively new tumor growth was seen in the operative site. The tumor recurrence was treated effectively by therapeutic 60Co irradiation. The discussion deals with frequency and prognosis of orbital manifestation of a lymphoblastic tumor.
