Second progress report of the British Institute of Radiology Fractionation Working Party

Abstract
Because of the lack of adequate data on the clinical results of different fractionation schemes a Working Party was set up by the British Institute of Radiology to investigate this problem. A preliminary report (1963) and a progress report (1964) have been published. Since then suitable forms and criteria have been agreed and the survey was begun in January, 1966 with ten centres participating. An eleventh centre joined in January, 1967, three in January, 1968. three in March, 1968, and further centres are considering joining the survey. The centres participating at present are listed in Table I.
