Abstract
Cochlear implantation is a relatively safe procedure.1-4 However, complications occur associated with the surgical approach, the implantation of a foreign body, or with the failure of the implanted device. Since the number of cochlear implantations has increased dramatically during the last decade, it is important that both patients and practitioners be aware of the potential complications. Keywords
