Abstract
High-yield one-pot syntheses of RuCl(PR3)2(η-C5H5) (R = Ph or p-MeC6H4) and OsBr(PPh3)2- (η-C5H5) from ruthenium or osmium halides, the tertiary phosphine and cyclopentadiene are described.
