Abstract
Quasi-single-cycle THz pulses are generated with high conversion efficiencies and output powers, using ultrafast infrared pulses, in a second-order nonlinear medium, by utilizing broadband-phase-matched difference-frequency generation and optimizing the pump pulse widths.Keywords
