Chemical Components of the Roots of Angelica keiskei KOIDZUMI. II. The Structure of the Chalcone Derivatives

Abstract
A new prenyl chalcone, xanthoangelol (II), was isolated from the roots of A. keiskei Koidzumi (Umbelliferae), together with a known prenyl chalcone, 4-hydroxyderricin. The structure of II was elucidated as 2'',4,4''-trihydroxy-3''-[(E)-3,7-dimethyl-2,6-octadienyl]chalcone.
