Abstract
α-Fueosidase, α-mannosidase and β-N-acetylglucosaminidase in the bovine retinal pigment epithelium were studied biochemically. p-Nitrophenyl-α-l-fucoside, p-nitrophenyl-α-d-mannoside and p-nitrophenyl-N-acetyl-β-d-glucosaminide were used as substrate. The optimal pH of the glycosidases were acidic. The Km values of α-fucosidase, α-mannosidase and β-N-acetylglucosaminidase were 0·37, 0·52 and 1·37 mm, respectively. Keywords
