Abstract
The development of the reproductive system of O. circumcincta is described and the developmental cycle divided into phases. It is suggested that these defined phases can be used to give an accurate profile of a worm population. The population of worms found in the experimentally infected lambs is defined in terms of these phases, linear measurements and, in the mature female worms, the presence or absence of the vulval flap. Keywords
