Abstract

The one-dimensional steady-state solution for radiation from one side of an annular fin has been computed for values of the two design parameters Display Formula

0 ⩽ \sqrt{\frac{ϵ σ {θ_{i}}^{3}}{K}} (r_{o} - r_{i}) ⩽ 2.0

and Display Formula

1.001 ⩽ ρ = \frac{r_{o}}{r_{i}} ⩽ 15.0

. The solution supplies design information needed for satellite thermal-power dissipating surfaces.
