Abstract
The generalised perturbation method previously introduced for discussing ordering effects in transition metal alloys is extended to include charge transfer effects. A detailed numerical discussion of the validity of this method and of the role of charge transfers is given by using simple models for the electronic structure of the pure metals. Keywords
