Abstract
This is a powerful study that puts beyond any doubt the fact that in vitro fertilisation (IVF) poses an increased risk of venous thromboembolisms (VTE) and pulmonary embolisms (PE). These iatrogenic complications have major implications both in terms of morbidity and mortality. Pulmonary embolism is a major cause of maternal mortality. The physiological state of pregnancy predisposes to a thrombophilic effect, and this is...This publication has 30 references indexed in Scilit:
