Abstract
Silver(I)-catalyzed reactions of vinyldiazoacetates have been shown to involve the intermediacy of silver-carbenoid species. The silver vinylcarbenoid displays a strong preference for electrophilic reactivity at the vinyl terminus in O–H insertion reactions. Keywords
