Abstract
In this paper we introduce a new compact dual-polarized circular slot antenna fed by two orthogonal CPW semi-discs. In order to achieve a good performance in terms of bandwidth and isolation, several techniques are used. To examine the antenna performances, numerical simulations using CST software were carried out. The obtained results show that the proposed antenna has good matching and isolation lower than -20 dB over a broad-band of frequency from 3 GHz to 14 GHz. These features make the proposed antenna very attractive for UWB applications using polarization-diversity technique. Keywords
