Abstract
A comparison of the XPS data produced by several laboratories working with the same V2O5/TiO2 catalysts samples is performed and reveals large discrepancies. From the results reported by the participating laboratories (influence of pretreatment, of data acquisition conditions and of data treatment procedures), recommendations are proposed in order to improve the reproducibility of XPS studies. Keywords
