Abstract
A porous TaON photoelectrode was prepared on a conducting glass support, and the photocurrent based on water oxidation was investigated under visible light irradiation. The photocurrent was significantly increased by TiCl4 treatment on the TaON electrode. The TiO2 necking that formed between the TaON particles possibly improved the electron transport within the porous electrode. Keywords
