Bioaerosol Sampling at a Live Animal Market in Kunshan, China: A Noninvasive Approach for Detecting Emergent Viruses

Abstract
During 2018, we conducted periodic bioaerosol sampling at a live bird market in Kunshan China and found (55%) of 120 samples to have evidence of avian influenza virus. We recovered four live viruses through egg culture. These results support the effectiveness of noninvasive bioaerosol sampling in live animal markets.Funding Information
