Abstract

The Si₈O₂₀ ^8– silicate anion is selectively formed in tetramethylammonium silicate methanolic solution from the SiO₄ ^4– silicate anion or at the expense of Si₆O₁₅ ^6– and highly cross-linked polymeric silicate anions which are once formed.
