Computer Model of Metallic Spin-Glasses

Abstract
The properties of dilute Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yosida-coupled classical spins randomly embedded in an fee lattice have been investigated by computer simulation. Results at T=0 are given for spatial correlations, molecular-field distributions, susceptibility, and frequencies of elementary excitations. Treating the latter as bosons, we find quantitative agreement with measured specific-heat values. The susceptibility χ(0) is also in accord with experiment.
