Abstract
The standards of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) on medical care in diabetes provide clear guidance about clinical outcomes.1 Other societies have their own diabetes recommendations and statements,2, 3 but all of them lack recommendations on how to measure humanistic outcomes in diabetes patients. During the past decade, a large diversity of humanistic-outcomes questionnaires was created.4 The lack of standard measures and scales makes it difficult to compare the results of different studies and practices. Keywords
