Abstract
This work reports the synthesis of two different polyamidoamines (PAAs), by the reaction of piperazine (Pip) and cyclohexylamine (CHA) with N,N′‐methylene bis acrylamide (MBA), which subsequently copolymerized with vinyl acetate (VAC) to improve the mechanical properties of the materials. The materials were characterized by spectroscopic techniques like IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR. Contact angle measurement data established the relative hydrophilic properties of the synthesized copolymers. From the weight of the thrombus formation with time and hemolysis assay, a conclusion could be drawn for the subsequent development of the materials for in vivo application. Keywords
