JCMsuite: An Adaptive FEM Solver for Precise Simulations in Nano-Optics

Abstract
We present the finite-element solver JCMsuite for Maxwell-type, time-harmonic scattering, eigenvalue and resonance problems. We report on the current status and discuss application examples like the precise computation of leaky modes in photonic crystal fibers.Keywords
