Abstract
A simple diode parametric amplifier is described which has been designed for use at S, C, and X band frequencies. Bandwidth and noise measurements show the performance to be substantially in agreement with the theoretical predictions. Details are given of compensating circuits which improve the gain-frequency response of the amplifier by up to 5.6 times. Keywords
