Abstract
Using a Cu2+-dependent DNA ligation DNAzyme, a colorimetric sensor for Cu2+ has been developed based on directed assembly of DNA-functionalized gold nanoparticles by the ligation product, and such ligation DNAzyme-based sensors are intrinsically more sensitive than cleavage DNAzyme systems due to the lack of background. Keywords
