Abstract
Problem-based learning (PBL) is a strategy that enhances students' ability to critically apply cumulative knowledge to actual clinical problems. It necessitates collaborative student effort to analyze and solve unfolding clinical problems that are fluid and reflect real-life situations. The authors describe an approach developed to generate PBL scenarios and guidelines that may be of use to others wishing to use PBL in their curriculum. Keywords
