Abstract
Thiosulphate is present in hot springs, streams and thermal pools of the Taupo Volcanic Zone and Ngawha, New Zealand, at concentrations of 1.2 (±1.3) × 10−5 M to 7.05 (±0.12) × 10−4M. Formed as a metastable product of sulphide oxidation, thiosulphate is buffered in the presence of elemental S according to,Keywords
