Abstract
Measurements of the de Haas-van Alphen effect in natural single-crystal graphite have been made at pressures up to 4 kbar. The results for the majority carriers have been interpreted in terms of the Slonczewski-Weiss band model. The minority-carrier results appear to be consistent with the interpretation given by Dresselhaus and Dresselhaus in which spin-orbit splitting at the hexagonal zone faces is included. Keywords
