Abstract
An optimized 32QAM (opt32) is designed to improve generalized mutual information over a nonlinear optical channel. A transmission capacity-distance product of 570Pb/s-km based on opt32 is demonstrated using bi-directional C + L-band transmission and adaptive FEC.Keywords
