Abstract
A computer survey was used to assess the attitudes and knowledge of 252 adult basic students in Texas. Data analyses indicated no significant differences at the .05 level of significance (α = .05) between Computer Attitudes (Anxiety, Confidence, Liking) and age; whereas significant differences were indicated with computer knowledge and gender of the respondent. The results obtained from the computer knowledge items are compared to the Educational Testing Service (ETS) sample. The comparison indicated some significant differences between the two samples.
