Abstract
SARM1 triggers acute axon loss in response to trauma. Geisler et al. show that SARM1 is also required for the development of vincristine-induced peripheral neuropathy (VIPN) in mice. Targeting SARM1 or its downstream effectors may be a viable therapeutic option to prevent VIPN and possibly other peripheral neuropathies. Keywords
