A comparison of two angular and two linear measurements used to establish sagittal apical base relationship

Abstract

Four methods of establishing the sagittal relationship of the maxillary and mandibular apical bases were compared using lateral skull radiographs of 42 children with Class I malocclusion. Correlation coefficients were computed between the ANB angle, the ‘Wits’ measurement, the AXD angle and the A-D' distance. The AXD angle and the A-D' distance.
