Abstract
Investigators have established the importance of physical activity, fitness, sleep, and diet in the maintenance of cardiovascular health. Low fitness is a key risk factor,1,2 while insufficient physical activity accounts for 5.3 million deaths per year and approximately 6% of the burden of coronary heart disease.3-5 Decrements in sleep quality through sleep fragmentation and obstructive sleep apnea also affect overall mortality.6Keywords
