Abstract
A mismatch amplification mutation PCR assay was developed and validated for rapid detection of the biotype specific cholera toxin B subunit of V. cholerae O1. This assay will enable easy monitoring of the spread of a new emerging variant of the El Tor biotype of V. cholerae O1.Keywords
