The Significance of Brushfield's Spots in the Diagnosis of Mongolism in Infancy

Abstract
A series of infant mongols was observed and it was found that all had blue eyes with white spots on the irides. These spots disappear if the color of the iris changes to brown as the child grows older. The spots are seen in some normal children also, and their diagnostic value is not great except in a negative sense.Keywords
