Abstract
In this paper we present techniques to compare the quality of tracking performances of B-spline based contour trackers. Three trackers reported to give good tracking performance have been considered for our empirical evaluation. They are the CONT-IMM tracker, the Condensation tracker and the Baumberg's tracker. Four different test conditions were set and for each test, the tracking performance of each tracker was measured against four performance measures. The results presented have revealed some interesting findings about the performance of the trackers under various conditions. Keywords
