A steam distillation apparatus (manufactured by Messrs. W. G. Flaig and Sons, Ltd., 39 Waterloo Rd., Cricklewood, London, N.W. 2) and its application to the estimation of quantities of N is described. The apparatus is insulated and heated by means of a steam jacket.
