Abstract
INFLUENZA AND pneumococcal diseases cause hundreds of thousands of hospitalizations and tens of thousands of deaths each year.1,2 In fact, these 2 vaccine-preventable diseases are responsible for more deaths than all other vaccine-preventable diseases combined, with more than 90% of these deaths occurring among the elderly and others with high-risk medical conditions.3Keywords
