Abstract
Patients who survive life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias are at risk for recurrent arrhythmias. They can be treated with either an implantable cardioverter–defibrillator or antiarrhythmic drugs, but the relative efficacy of these two treatment strategies is unknown.
