Abstract
An attempt to develop simple frameworks for quantification of the CO2 emissions mitigation potential of renewable energy technologies for domestic water heating, domestic lighting, water pumping, and crop drying has been made. The annual useful energy provided by each of the renewable energy technology and the annual saving of fuel/electricity have been estimated. The gross annual amount of CO2 emissions mitigation, as well as net amount of annual CO2 emissions mitigation potential of each technology, is estimated by taking into account the CO2 emissions embodied in the device. Keywords
