Silicon-29 nuclear magnetic resonance studies of aqueous silicate solutions. Part 5.—First-order patterns in potassium silicate solutions enriched with silicon-29

Abstract
This article describes the use of a very-high-field n.m.r. spectrometer, together with 29Si—{29Si} homonuclear decoupling, for the study of alkaline aqueous potassium silicate solutions enriched with silicon-29. Experimental details are given, together with results for first-order multiplet resonances and related singlets. The chemical structures of six silicate species have thus been determined.
