Abstract
Ninety-nine cases of sudden infant death syndrome were identified among 47 413 liveborn deliveries to Cardiff residents during the years 1965-73 and 1975-77. Nineteen predictive factors available on the Cardiff Birth Survey record were evaluated individually and jointly in terms of their power to identify risk of sudden and unexpected infant death. Keywords
