Abstract
A new species, Steneotarsonemus brasiliensis, is described and illustrated. An illustrated key is presented to separate adult, males and females of Steneotarsonemus spp. (Acari: Tarsonemidae), known to occur on gramineous plants (Poaceae) in the Western Hemisphere. Information on their hosts and distribution is included.Keywords
