Abstract
Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is highly effective and safe therapeutic modality for unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the role of TACE for infiltrative HCC has never been elucidated owing to the concern about hepatic failure and subsequent mortality after the procedure.
