Abstract
An exact solution for the elastic response of a cylindrical cross-ply laminated panel subject to mechanical loading and temperature variation is derived. The three-dimensional equilibrium equations, written in terms of displacements, are reduced to a system of coupled ordinary differential equations, which are then solved using the power series method. Numerical results are presented for graphite/epoxy composites. Keywords
