Stripe order at low temperatures in La2xSrxNiO4 with 0.289x0.5

Abstract
The stripe order in La2xSrxNiO4+δ with 0.289x0.5 was studied with neutron-scattering technique. At low temperatures, all samples exhibit hole stripe order. Incommensurability ε of the stripe order is approximately linear in the hole concentration nh=x+2δ up to x=1/2, where δ denotes the off stoichiometry of oxygen atoms. The charge and spin ordering temperatures exhibit maxima at nh=13, and both decrease beyond nh>13. For 13<~nh12, the stripe ordering consists of the mixture of the ε=13 stripe order and the nh=12 charge/spin order.
