Pulmonary Liposarcoma in a Child with Adrenogenital Syndrome

Abstract
An unusual case of pulmonary embryonal liposarcoma in a 9-year-old child is reported. This appears to be the first recorded instance of a primary pulmonary liposarcoma in the English literature. After pneumonectomy the tumor recurred and caused the death of the patient. The associated history of adrenogenital syndrome with subsequent development of a malignancy in another organ is of interest because of the association of a malformation with a malignancy.
